 Makki Madni Catering

"Makki Madni Catering" is Providing "Keema Karahi" which is a flavorful dish where minced meat (typically mutton or chicken) is cooked with various spices in a "karahi" (a type of cooking pot). Here's a basic recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Minced meat (keema): 500 grams (mutton or chicken)
  • Tomatoes: 4-5, finely chopped
  • Onions: 2 medium, finely chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tablespoons
  • Green chilies: 3-4, slit or chopped
  • Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder (haldi): 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds (zeera): 1 teaspoon
  • Oil or ghee: 3-4 tablespoons
  • Salt: to taste
  • Fresh coriander: handful, chopped for garnishing
  • Ginger: 1 inch piece, julienned for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Heat oil or ghee in a karahi or wok on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Cooking Onions: Add the finely chopped onions. Sauté until they're golden brown.
  3. Adding Spices: Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears. Then, add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
  4. Tomatoes: Incorporate the chopped tomatoes into the karahi. Cook until they are soft and the oil begins to separate from the mixture.
  5. Meat: Add the minced meat (keema) to the karahi. Cook, stirring regularly, until the meat is browned and cooked through.
  6. Simmer: Once the meat is cooked, add the slit green chilies and salt. Mix well. Cover the karahi with a lid and let the keema simmer for 10-15 minutes on low heat.
  7. Final Touch: Sprinkle garam masala over the keema. Give it a mix and then turn off the heat.
  8. Garnishing: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and julienned ginger.
